Self ‘Dave’ TV ident evaluation

WWW: Good use of editing the use of fast cuts and fade-in’s gives the film an extra layer of professional looking production. The props and costumes help draw in the audience in because they give an authentic feeling. The performances are good enough to me to get the comedy of the situation across to the audience. The music is taken from a current Dave ident giving it a realist feel due to the ‘Dave’ theme playing

EBI:I would love to fix the shaky camera shots as they really make the production look unprofessional. There were small continuity problems with the ident like the jug changing position and chairs moving. The title shot looks very cheap and rushed as the Dave font is stuck onto the side of a Jug this is my biggest problem though the shot type is good

Self evaluation on 'Push a Little Button'

WWW: I like the editing in this vid as the sceens are at different lengths and stops the video getting boring. I am also happy the editing of the shots flows well with the music drawing me into it. Iam also pleased with the use of close up as it is clear what button is being pressed as well being similar to the original advert.

EBI: i would like a variety of different shots in this ad as they are mostly all high angle close ups of hands buttons and fingers this can get extremely boring and repetative. I also of like to filmed each shot more than once so that we had more to work with and got rid of some of the mistakes on film that are fairly obvious
