uploading rushes and using paper edit
Today I uploaded my rushes onto the Mac's using a memory card reader and uploading and creating a new event on the scratch disk through imovie. I also optimized my footage to fit wide screen for better presentation of the final product. Using my paper edit i uploaded the rushes I wanted saving a little space on the scratch disk. I then began to import the footage into final Cut by creating a new project and importing my footage into the browser ready to begin my editing.
